Looks like it's a disc brake carNot necessarily, the only way to get discs in 67 was to get power with it. That is most likely just an old disc master put on a drum brake car. Also after market companies rebuild disc masters and sell them as drum ones. I'm not 100% on this, but I have yet to see a factory disc set up on a small block b-body in 67. Not sure it was unavailable or just most people simply didn't order it.

I'd drive it as is. If it's really not the right car for the current owner, sell it down the line. No need to have to commit to putting at least 12k into this car.
