Should I run tubes in my slicks?
Do I need tubes for slicks?
Is it safe not using tubes?
What are the advantages of running/not running tubes?
I will be running 15x8 steelies with 30x9 M/T's, so they are going to be heavy already.
Any info/thoughts/knowledge on this subject will be very helful

I always used the racing tube made for that size tire and plus the ones that are made of real rubber, regular tubes that are not made for racing will pinch , ask me how I know .

MY OPINION ONLY, (disclaimer) do not run tubes in slicks. before mounting, wipe the inside tire with dishwashing fluid (dawn) this will seal most leaks. i have run tubes before. they are slower, (unsprung weight) also, when a tube goes flat, u are done! i have plugged slicks many times and some more than once, won lots of $ on plugged slicks. i run about 150 mph on tubless slicks and many, many, years. use a good steel screw in valve stem. i also use tubless on the dodge, M/T drag radials, just not as fast, around 112..
(disclaimer#2 ) i did not say anyone should plug a slick, just saying i do it!
