proud yes. iv been working on this thing for 20 years, and finally grew the balls to get serious a couple of winters ago. i did all the metal work myself and recently got a bodyman friend to straighten it all out. he did an ecellent job. now i have to strip the car down to nothing (pull engine, dash ect) and give it back to him for the final bodywork and paint. theres a couple of things he still wants to do. paint will be the entire car inside and out. seems like this is going on forever and im only half done

20 yrs is a long time. Did you get any seat time in it before you started the resto? Gotta be itching to get it done eh? Have you got something else to pound on while the vert is out of commision? Nice work btw.

ya thats a long time but i been driving it most every summer. seems like theres always something to do on it. the plan now is im puting the lights ect back in and im going to use it on nice days until mid summer, my body man has other obligations untill around july. so no top no interior ect for now. the cars in epoxy so thats ok. just before i started this round of bodywork i installed an od833 and i want to see how that unit behaves itself also. my buddy is going to give me a couple weeks notice when he wants the car back so i can strip it down to nothing.
