    Superbee Decklid Emblem

My Bee is almost ready for paint, we are final fitting things now and one piece I need to locate is the trunklid Bee emblem. I must have a trunklid from a coronet 500 or 440 because there are no pre-drilled holes for the emblem. That being said, if anyone that has a 69 Superbee trunklid with the factory holes drilled in it and could do me this favor I would appreciate it... here is what I need...

From the right edge of the trunklid take a measurement from the edge of the trunk lid to the helmet of the Bee. Also, if you could take a picture of the location of the mounting nuts (from the underside of the lid) that would be most helpfull too. I want to be certain that I locate the Bee properly...

    Thanks

From edge of deck lid to bee helmet is 5 1/4 inches.

There is only one mount post that pokes thru to mount a nut. The other post just goes thru outer layer of trunk skin to keep bee in place so it doesn't 'spin' around.

The first photo shows the post location, it barely misses where the top layer of trunk skin folds under.

The second photo shows placement of the bee.

    Cool

DodgeBee69Thanks, this is EXACTLY what I was hoping to get. Interesting that they only used one nut to secure it in place. That is what I suspected, but I appreciate you confirming it. Also, great detailed pics.
