    Your Favorite Songs?

    I thought that it would be fun to start a thread where everybody could post their favorite songs. Repeats of the same song are cool and different versions of the same song are also cool. As long as it's one of your favorite songs, it all good!

    My first grouping of favorites in no particular order.

    The Moody Blues - "Forever Afternoon (Tuesday?)" - "Days Of Future Passed" album - released in December 1967.



    The Who - "5:15" - "Quadrophenia" album - released in October 1973. (live 2000 version with fantastic bass guitar solo by John Entwistle)



    Jefferson Airplane - "Lather" - "Crown Of Creation" album - released in September 1968.



    Pink Floyd - "Shine On You Crazy Diamond - Parts 1 through 9" - "Wish You Were Here" album - released in September 1975.



    Black Sabbath - "Black Sabbath" - "Black Sabbath" album - released in February 1970.



    The Doors - "The End" - WARNING! ORIGINAL UNCENSORED VERSION WITH ADULT LANGUAGE! - "The Doors" album - released in January 1967.

    The Animals - "House Of The Rising Sun" - from the album "The Animals" released in September 1964



    Janis Joplin - "Ball And Chain" - live performance at the Monterey Pop Festival.
