Here you go Andy. This is the remastered version of her song "wake Up" which was included on her absolutely fantastic album "Jagged Little Pill" which was originally released in June 1995. I love early Alanis Morissette!

Banned by MTV and finally relegated to post 10pm showings cause it was so popular. It actually made the Navy enact a policy banning filming any music video's on their ships. (She re-shot one wearing less racy outfit but it never aired)

Never made it to MTV until they completely re-shot it.. Not just because what it showed but the lyrics were umm.. yea..

I love Mopars so much I'm date coding the skid marks in my underwear.

Sorry to post a GMC product commercial here on the DCR, but every once in awhile a company gets it right with the music used in their commercials.

    Richard

    GMC commercial

And the full original song GMC used in that commercial. Gets my toes taping every time I hear it!

Frank "Sugar Chile" Robinson - "Go Boy Go" - released back in 1954.

Ok, for you folks who hate any song longer than three minutes and which are written in any time signature outside of 4/4 should not even bother looking at this post, as you will absolutely hate every single song that I've posted, but if you love time and key changes and songs that involve extremely talented musicians as much as I do then grab a snack and something to drink and sit back and enjoy!

This Moody Blues song has always been so VERY underrated and I can't understand why. The boys are at their peak in this era and Mike Pinder is absolutely fantastic on Mellotron and lead vocals on this live version!

The Moody Blues - "Melancholy Man" from their album "A Question Of Balance" released in 1970.

That's the first album cover of 2112 that wasn't a pentagram, and I've owned vinyl, 3 tapes and 1 CD of it

But since we're on a Rush topic, can't forget this gem...

Thank you Mike. I'm a huge Rush fan. Such a enormous loss with Neil's passing.
