The last disc I bought was to replace the one I misplaced a few months ago. It's been my favorite disc for a few years. It's eric Clapton, me and mister Johnson. It's Eric covering Robert Johnsons (blues)music. I bought it used on Amazon for $.01 I'm happy to have it again.

I like it alot Richard.. it's got their hits on it, as well as some stuff I never heard before. I used to be really into them in the late 70's/early 80's, but then they fell off the radar til I heard them on Slacker Radio as part one of the bands most snubbed by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

I usually buy my music thru Amazon, and get the CD and MP3. I usually throw one in when I buy a car part

That's cool Mike! I'm also a huge Kansas fan and like you have been following them since their early days.

One of their later albums that I absolute love is titled "In The Spirit Of Things". It has a different feel to it than their earlier albums due to the bands line-up at that time, but it has some REALLY cool tracks on it including my favourites "Rainmaker", "Ghosts" and "Bells Of Saint James". I have it playing now as I write this!

A fantastic deal on a fantastic CD! Please let me know what you think after you listen to it. I really like disc #2 with all of the longer live tracks on it!

I got the blues disc over the weekend. It's pretty good I do like disc 2. However I think even though wonderful tonight is a good song it has no place on a blues disc. He also left out a few verses on kind hearted woman blues. The song tells a story but he starts it at the end. I guess I'm just used to hearing the version on me and mr Johnson

Hello Jeff,

Glad to hear that you enjoyed the "Blues" album.

Regarding the different versions of some of the songs on this album, his version of "Crossroads" is also completely different and while I like the version done during his days with Cream much better, I still enjoy hearing him changing things up a bit. When I want to hear the Cream version I pull out my "Wheels Of Fire" album or CD and when I want to hear the Jazz version I listen to this album. Kind of like going to the ice cream store, it's all ice cream, just different flavours.
