Just a quick poll. I'm running duals with glass pack mufflers with a 2.25" pipe.
Fun around town and cruse nights. NO fun on any road trip over 20 miles.
What are you guys running?

3" TTI system - noise is not too bad, car has a real nice exhaust note while crusing. Although at idle in the garage it resonates terribly.

On my 1966 Coronet 500, I'm running my 440 with a massaged set of 1969 Chrysler H.P. exhaust manifolds, 3 inch exhaust pipes that turn down just in front of the rear differential and a high performance set of mufflers. This system rattles my neighbours windows, so I'll be absolutely
NO help to you!

Sorry. Like Richard, I also run 3in pipes off the headers to 2 chamber Flowmasters and dumps in front of the diff. With a 440 six pack, 3500 stall converter, 410 gears, cruising at 45-50 mph kinda sucks for some people................. Not me! I F'n love it.

Typically, glass packs are loud - try a set of Hemi mufflers from Accurate Exhaust, personally I like Flowmasters.

Was leaning toward a walker fx muffler. Cheap... If I don't like it? It won't be too painful to buy something else... Flow master 44 would be my buy if I had deep pockets...not knowing if I'd like em

I've got 3" into a X-pipe that go into Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers, and then they get reduced to 2.5" tailpipes.

Wow! Great video. I got tailpipe vids too. Mine are not that cool. Just want that heavy rumble note without sounding like a straight pipe Harley.
