So if anyone can help me or have any ideas it would be greatly appreciated. Last night I thought the car would be done, but nope!
So last night I fixed the intake manifold leak and there was still a vacuum leak at the rear carb, fixed that and it still ran messed up.
Then I found one on the center carb (which is for a 340 six pack)
So I think I ma have to bite the bullet and buy a new center carb.
But on the bright side the power steering that I finall finished works awesome! My car is the bane of my existance right now!

sorry to hear that. that's how things are when building a "new" car. there are always lots of bugs to work out.

So the person working on my car took off the center carb and tried it on his car and he said it runs MINT. He is now leaning towards the outboard carbs being rebuilt wrong! My torture is never ending! The good thing is that he has not accepted any money. He just wants it fixed properly. Ya ME TOO! UGH!

What is the engine doing? You describe running messed up. Is it running at a very hi idle?
Are you using the ProMax base plate on the rear carb.?

It is a cracked intake manifold. Right underneath the center carb. It spider cracked at the end of the casting.

just another $380.00. Pretty much pennies in the grand scheme of things! Hoepfully I will stop spending money sometime soon.
