It's actually easy to work on. The only problem with a garage with this trans is buying parts. You are at the mercy of the dealer if you need hard parts. I wouldn't recommend aftermarket soft parts.
They are serviceable at the dealer. But if the cost of the repair is more than 70% of the cost of a reman then the dealer has to use a reman.
