Exterior top windshield trim molding - ‘67 coronet
#1
Hi all,

I’m looking for an hard top exterior top edge trim molding for my 1967 Dodge Coronet. I lost the original onde on the road, and it was completely destroyed…

That’s available for 1968 b-body cars, but not for 1966-67 models. Since then, I have been desperately trying to find a replacement, without any success.

I even sent messages on Facebook. 2 guys answered quickely, but they didn’t seems trustWorthy… I felt too good to be true.

Do you know where I might be able to find this part?

Thank you in advance for your advices.

Best regards,
Francois

Hi Francois.. can you post picture of what piece you are looking for? I might have one off my 66 (they are same).

I'll be honsest with you.. with all the tariff BS going on, shipping parts country-country is rough.. the paperwork to ship a small calender for a present from US to Canada was more of a hassle than it was worth.
I love Mopars so much I'm date coding the skid marks in my underwear.

Hi,
Thank you for your quick answer.

Rigth, I’m conscious that shipping cost can be quite hight and additionnal custom fees may apply… but, this is like it is.
It’s certainly impossible to find one in Europe.
I would be so happy if you have one!

Please, find enclosed a picture with the missing part.

Thanks.. unfortunately I don't have that one. And it's one of those pieces they don't make in aftermarket for our cars..Yet, they make the vinyl top clips at the corner..

Have you tried AMS Obsolete in Georgia? You can't go by website, have to email or call to ask as they don't have everything online. http://www.amsnos.com/

Also, try doing search for "Mopar Junkyards", there are quite a few that specialize in old Mopar stuff (like Wildcat Auto Salvage). I know a yard that has a complete 67 but it's a 4-door and the windshield trim is different.
