My R/T project
#21
Well recent developments have caused me to postpone the rest of my repair projects on the R/T. My landlord has informed me that he needs to move back in to the house we are renting. Since I have no lease agreement with him I really don't have much recourse. I wanted to thank all of the members who posted helpful information and encouragement. I'm going to finish the sail panel repair and install the new carpet that I ordered, and reinstall the interior so the car can be moved. If I have time I may install the rear bumper and trunk I purchased. Also the tail light lenses and rear panel. I will continue to post my progress as I can. And I'm selling the parts in the for sale section at best offers plus shipping for a limited time. Thanks all, Ken

Sorry to hear that Ken, hopefully you'll be able to find a place that will let you continue working on the car. Keep checking in here and let us know how things go with the move and getting back into fixing the car up.
I love Mopars so much I'm date coding the skid marks in my underwear.

Good luck Ken and hang on to the car, even if you have to wrap it up for a while.

I will be looking forward to new updates from you .

I repaired the passenger side jam where the door hinge mounts. I wanted to fix that part before I put the new carpet in, I didn't want burn it or wait for another time to do it. I also degreased and washed out the floor Inside and painted it. Also I need to put a couple of coats of primer so I can block sand the sail panel repairs.

I installed the new carpet tonight, but I wasn't able to clean up the seats before I installed them. Here are some picturesWhy does the forum look different on my phone now? It's not loading my pictures? I think, I don't like this new look.

Today I primered the top half of the coronet. That's all I could get done as my da sander gave up on me last night. I installed the new trunk lid, tail lites and bumper. Still have to adjust the trunk lid and bumper though. I just can't pull the all niters like I used to. Here are some pictures. I kind of like the two tone look and so does the wife. Any thoughts?

I've got a few more boxes to sort through but at least nothing will fall on her. R/T has plenty of room in her new home.
