My mom purchased this car on June 5 of 1953 for a total of $2950 including the Kelsey Hayes wire wheels. It was purchased from the Denison motor company and Oklahoma City. One family ownership and it's fully documented. Full rotisserie restoration. Recently did a rebuilt fuel pump and replica fuel tank and a custom-made radiator. 98,000 miles.
It's a 1953 model. I've got the bill ticket and a letter from Chrysler historical Society. It's kind of cool. Somewhere I have the original receipt from the purchase. Optional equipment on the car included deluxe radio, air, foam cushions, cigar, lighter, Gyro- Matic transmission, wire wheels, side mirrors, heater, and white sidewall tires.

Hi! Tell me more. Where? I have only seen one other '53 convertible in my life. A survivor down in Golden, CO owned by Captain GTX.
Thanks for the kind words. "The Blue Bomb" is a family treasure. A bit of a nightmare parts wise. Speaking of which I would love to buy a 53 convertible parts car if you know of anything laying around in someone's backyard under a tarp.
Please excuse all of my typos and punctuation problems ahead of time. I use Siri for the stuff.
